3rd December 2014
During April 2011 the International Fund for Agriculture (IFAD) approved the implementation of the Learning Routes: a Knowledge Management and Capacity Building Tool for Rural Development in East and Southern Africa (ROUTESA)"
Programme, under the responsibility of PROCASUR Regional Corporation. Both entities signed the Grant Agreement No. 1249-PROCASUR. The overall objective of the program is "to increase knowledge and capacity to adopt best practices and innovations among IFAD's stakeholders in the Eastern and Southern Africa region".
The ROUTESA Programme is coming to it's Second Phase. To this end, the PROCASUR Corporation in collaboration with IFAD's East and Southern Africa Division (ESA) is pleased to invite you to a Regional Workshop on the "Learning Routes: a Knowledge Management and Capacity Building Tool for Rural Development in East and Southern Africa (ROUTESA)" Programme; which they are organizing to take place on the 3rd of December 2014!
The overall objective of the forum is to draw lessons, collect stories from the Learning Routes, obtain updates on the Action Plans that have been implemented, identify the impact of these activities and finally opening the floor for suggestions on how to improve our future work in the region. With this aim, we would like to invite (i) partners and strategic people who have been actively involved in the programme during the past three years at regional and country level (ii) Ruteros (Learning Route Participants) who have had a key role during the Learning Routes' implementation; (iii) local talents who have been committed to the Learning Route process and actively participated to the experiences exchange.
